The following gives businesses a quick guide to dates relating to the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS). This scheme provides financial support to eligible employers. 

December 2020 onwards

HMRC will publish the names, an indication of the value of claims and, for companies and LLPs, the Company Registration Numbers of employers who make CJRS claims for periods from December.

1 December 2020

For claim periods from this date, employers cannot claim CJRS grants for any days that their employee is serving a contractual or statutory notice period, including notice of retirement or resignation.

 

January 2021

The government will review the terms of the CJRS scheme.

31 March 2021

The end of the CJRS scheme.
